March 2014 – Potluck, Seed Exchange & Eco-beats – Thursday March 20, 2014

We’re changing things up just a bit for March so read on to find out what’s happening. It turns out that the Saskatchewan Eco-Network (SENSeed-Diversity-in-the-Mil-007) is hosting an event called Eco-Beats on the same evening close by on 20th Street at the Underground Café (430 20th Street West).

It’s an evening of music and fundraising for their Environmental Film Festival (which will take place the last weekend of April).  Rather than cancel our potluck or compete with SEN’s event as well as miss it ourselves, we decided to make the best of both worlds.  We also want to support SEN’s efforts.

So here’s the plan:
Potluck & visit as usual at the Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre (202 Avenue C South)Doors open at 6pm.  We will also continue with our Seed Exchange.  So if you forgot to bring your extra seeds to share last month, never fear, bring them on March 20. We’ll make sure we hav
e time to swap seeds and stories.

After we eat, visit, clean-up and exchange seeds those of us who want to will carry on to Eco-Beats. Doors open there at 7:30.  Music starts at 8:00.  Tickets are $10 at the door.

We hope to see you at the potluck and that you’ll also continue on to SEN’s event
