We are happy to announce that we will be holding another Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) this summer. It will happen from August 14-27 at the University of Saskatchewan.
The PDC is an intensive certificate course, as 72 hours of class and field work time are covered in two weeks. The course runs 6 days per week for these two weeks, so be prepared to be busy!
Lunch is provided as part of the course. If you are coming from out of town, you will have to find your own accommodations.
The course will begin on Sunday, August 14 and run until the morning of Saturday, August 27. Saturday, August 20 will be a day off, but the rest of the time is spent in the class or in hands-on practice. It is a full certificate course squeezed into a two-week period.
The course will be taught be Jesse Lemieux of Pacific Permaculture. Jesse is one of the leading permaculture practitioners in Canada. He has worked on permaculture projects around the world, and he recently was the resident manager for the Permaculture Research Institute of Australia.
