Urban Agriculture – Taking Root
Urban agriculture is taking root across North America! The Urban Ag movement is often synonymous with social justice and food sovereignty, and has become a venue for community building, rehabilitation and personal growth. This fall Brit explored nine community urban agriculture projects in Milwaukee, Madison, Chicago and Detroit. She will highlight some of the interesting and innovative projects and ideas that have people inspired and involved in their community food systems, and will explore ideas that may be applied locally.
